Moving the box is the easy half. What costs you money is a registration that misses one SKU, stock that lands with eight months of shelf life left, or four days of silence after the vessel berths while your buyer asks where it is.

Most forwarders won't tell you this until the invoice. Better you know before you book.
LCL that small costs you more in origin charges than the freight is worth. Send it air, or hold it until the next container.
If the CDSCO certificate doesn't cover a SKU on your list, we stop the booking at origin. A container sitting at Nhava Sheva costs far more than a week's delay.
If the HS classification is genuinely arguable, we'll say so and give you a range, not a number that looks precise and turns out wrong.
No FSSAI-licensable goods, no temperature-controlled cargo, no live shipments. It isn't a capability we have, and we'd rather say so at quote than at the port.
A client once shipped goods they didn't know were classified as hazardous. Three cartons were rejected at customs. We finished the consignment and ended the account. Screening protects everyone else on the same pallet.
Clearance and a named agent cost money. If you only need port-to-port and you'll handle customs yourself, a straight forwarder will beat us on price.
